The BC Touring Council (BCTC) and the BC Music Competition Collective (BCMFC) are happy to announce their new strategic partnership that brings each organizations collectively to help reside performing arts presenters and music, arts and cultural festivals in British Columbia.
The BC Music Competition Collective sprang from a grassroots effort in response to the pandemic shutdowns to satisfy a big want for the music pageant sector.
The provincial authorities has since acknowledged the group because the official business consultant for music festivals.
As we speak, there are over 100 festivals as a part of the Collective. Final fall, BCMFC’s membership undertook a strategic planning course of designed to reply, “What’s the only and sustainable organizational construction for BCMFC,” as festivals emerged from the pandemic.
