With this Brabus 900 XLP, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 is transformed into an extreme pickup with a 900 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine.
Already boosted to 800 horsepower, the Brabus “XLP”, based on a Mercedes G-Class that has been transformed into a rugged pick-up, is back with a brand new version.

The set is completed by contrasting red accents, which can be found on the grille, the winch, the axles, the rims, without forgetting the acronyms of the model and the Brabus signature in the dumpster. These red inserts are also found inside, where they replace the usual chrome or stainless steel elements.
There is also a black leather upholstery Quilted “Mondial Black”, featuring perforated patterns and Brabus badges, while carbon fiber inserts come to dress the dashboard, the central console, the door trims or even the steering wheel.

Brabus 900 XLP “One of Ten”: a 900 hp twin-turbo V8
Under the hood, Brabus modified the block 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 of displacement, and gave it new turbochargers. Baptized Rocket 900 V8, it is the most powerful engine offered by Brabus: the set now develops 900 horsepower and 1,250 Nm of torquea gain of 315 horsepower and 400 Nm compared to an original Mercedes-AMG G 63, which already had 585 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.
However, in practice, the torque is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm to preserve the running gear. Thus equipped, the Brabus 900 XLP “One of Ten” swallows the 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds only, for a maximum speed limited to 210 km/h. The automatic transmission allows its nine gears to be shifted automatically or manually, depending on the driver’s preferences.
Here’s the new Brabus 900 XLP ‘One of Ten’ which houses a 4.5l V8 with a chaotic 662kW or 900 horses hence the 900 designation.
Torque is rated at 1,250 Nm but it’s limited to 1,050Nm to save the drivetrain.
Only ten units will be built and each costs about R11,050,947. pic.twitter.com/OLitWvi5by

A stainless steel exhaust system Brabus also equips the model, with carbon tailpipes, red ambient light and active valves, which allow the sound of the V8 to be personalized at the touch of a button, with a “Sport” mode more expressive or a more discreet “Coming Home” mode.
Brabus has not announced a catalog price for its new Brabus 900 XLP “One of Ten” based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63, but a copy is already on sale on the German tuner’s website, at the price of €783,764.25 ! As its name suggests, the production will be limited to 10 copies.
