This is what Emmanuel Macron announced this Wednesday, June 8, 2022 during a trip to Clichy-sous-Bois. The President indeed insisted on the importance of sports practice among young people, while confirming, moreover, that 30 minutes of sport in primary school would now be compulsory from the start of the school year in September. Thus, 760,000 young people would therefore be affected by this aid of 50 euros aimed at financing registration in a sports club. Remember that the Pass’Sport was until now reserved for young people aged 6 to 18, under certain conditions. “This trip was also an opportunity for the President to take stock of the deployment of local sports infrastructures that are emerging in the neighborhoods thanks to the “5000 pitches Plan”. The objective: to put sport at the heart of the Nation’s project with the deployment of 5,000 new sports grounds and halls by 2024 to make sports practice more accessible”, says the government.
