A very high national average

Since the beginning of March, fuel prices have continued to rise. Average prices have never been so high in France, for all fuels. If the government persists in confirming theextension of the 18-cent discount on the price of fuel, prices remain very high. At the beginning of June, on a national scale, the average fuel price is as follows:

The average prices in the table opposite were calculated using data from the French government website on fuel prices. Prices have been calculated on an average that includes the lowest and highest fares, by region. All the official signs listed by the government site have been taken into account. However, prices may be distorted by certain independent stations, or by commercial discounts applied by certain distributors. The prices in the table above are those applied after the discount of 18 cents proposed by the State.
